Subject: Mail Routing issue

Release: 8.5.1
Reproducible: Always

After editing a person document with an agent to point to a new mailfile location, the mail router is unable to route to the new destination using that person document. I get "no route found to server" messages and a dead mail in the mail.box. It tells me to check domain , connection and server documents but since normal mail is routing I do not think it is that.

On the person document I edited the MailServer and the Mailfile fields and I changed the MailSystem to "6" for POP3. Apart from these changes this is exactly the same person document that was there previously and which was routing mail previously.

My agent sends lots of commands to the server console following editing and saving the person document including:

1) load updall -R names.nsf - to rebuild all the views related to the person document

2) replicate servername names.nsf - to push that change to all relevant servers

3) tell router update config (to make sure the router has the latest info related to the person document changes)

Anyone got any ideas what I am doing wrong here?

Is there some kind of background API process I am missing here?
